The Bandit Story

We had one simple, but seemingly impossible desire: to save people from dropping their cell phones…ever again. Enter bandit. Gone are the days of watching your costly smartphone slip out of your hand and fall to its untimely demise.

Bandit is the first customizable, completely collapsible smart phone accessory that not only improves your one-handed grip but also converts to a phone stand. With our snap-action band, patented magnetic locking tabs and 360-degree rotation technology, it’s a grip device worthy of cell phone gymnastics.

In 2018, while a freshman at Arizona State University, Derrick Pierson dreamed up the idea of bandit. With the support of his brother, Brennan and father, Dusty, this father-and-son team brought the idea to life. Initially painstakingly produced in their home garage, now stand-alone bandits and bandit cases are being factory produced so they can be readily available worldwide.

At Bandit, we set out to design products that allow our family and friends to enjoy their phones with more confidence and flexibility than before.
